Google Maps and saved places

The restaurant map uses Google Maps. When you open the map, browse saved places, or search for a location, your browser sends requests to Google. These can include your IP address, browser information, search text, and the identifiers of places you view. Google handles this information under its Privacy Policy. Use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.

This site stores my saved-place identifiers, list membership, and any notes or labels I add. Google-provided place details are requested for the current view and are not saved to the restaurant database or offered as a data export. The restaurant map does not request your precise device location.

Private library access

Signing in sets a session cookie so the server can check access to private books and their images. Book content is served only after that check. Signing out removes the session cookie. These cookies are used for access control, not advertising.

Course Planner Data

The course planner may store your first name, last name, small profile password, selected majors/minors/tracks, and the course schedule you create. This information is used only to reopen your course-planning profile and keep your schedule available across devices.

How It Is Used

Your name and course schedule will not be used for anything outside this course scheduling tool. They are not used for advertising, analytics profiling, public display, or unrelated contact.

Password Note

The small password is only there to separate profiles that may have the same name. Do not use an important password from another account.

Local Use

You can use the planner without signing in. In that case, your plan is stored locally in your browser and is not saved to the cloud profile system.
